Time to get a proper job methinks! ^^
Now my cast is off I can get back to my normal life (which was never that interesting anyway).
I've watched every episode of Battlestar Galactica, and then Caprica, but now my hand is functioning and I am again able to pick up my camera and take photographs of various inanimate objects and mostly inanimate people! (Just kidding!)
Between the now and finding a job, I will continue working on my version of Astrodynamicist's copper monstrosity! It's coming along slowly... and it's not very good either D: But oh well, it's something to do in my not inconsiderable amount of spare time.
I might rant a bit now...
Last night I posted a Facebook status paying my respects to the people who died in 9/11 and within 5 minutes some faggot was flaming me! What the hell is wrong with people these days!? I just don't understand, the conspiracy theories have been done to death, the war on terror has been done to death, people throw the blame around like hot cakes but that doesn't change the fact that almost 3,000 people died within the space of half an hour. If people don't care that's fine by me, they can go along their merry way, if people think it was a government conspiracy, fine. But when people openly attack me for paying my respects (and this probably happens to loads of people) then it just crosses the line. /RAGE
He said "people don't want to be reminded of it".
That's sweet and all, coming from a spoilt kid who never lost anything or anybody in his life (yeah, him) but those of us who have actually experienced suffering and loss know full well that it's not something you just forget about when people stop talking about it. People's brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, sons and daughters died in this attack, and that is not something that ANY of them will ever forget.
How many deaths and bombings and losses do we need to endure before apathetic morons like him begin to understand?
I wish I was religious, so I could convince myself that people like him were on their way to hell, but I'm not.
